Summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking an experienced Provider Relations Team Lead to support our healthcare operations in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you'll help lead a team of Provider Relations Representatives and Field Consultants while building strong relationships with healthcare providers, state stakeholders, and internal business partners.You'll help monitor team performance, resolve escalated provider concerns, support provider outreach and education, and ensure services meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

Your role in our mission
  • Lead, coach, and develop Provider Relations Representatives and Field Consultants while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, service levels, and other performance metrics while identifying training needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong provider relationships, resolving escalated inquiries, complaints, and service issues with timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate provider outreach, education, and communication initiatives while supporting a positive overall provider experience.
  • Collaborate with Provider Enrollment, Claims, Training, Quality Assurance, Project Management, and other stakeholders to improve processes and service delivery.
What we're looking for
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in healthcare, provider relations, provider enrollment, customer service, managed care, or a related healthcare environment.
  • Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or providing day-to-day guidance to employees; previous team lead experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, managed care organizations, or government healthcare programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of provider operations, customer service, quality assurance, performance management, and regulatory or contractual requirements.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, conflict-resolution, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
