We are searching for a qualified candidate to fill our Community Relations Associate position.This position raises awareness and funds for Easterseals Midwest through grassroots fundraising and outreach efforts to the local businesses and organizations, families and individuals we support, our staff, and the broader community.

Essential Functions:

  • Cultivate relationships with donors, businesses, and community partners to support fundraising and agency initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at community events and outreach activities, providing information and engaging with the public.
  • Coordinate grassroots fundraising efforts, including event logistics, volunteer involvement, and promotional collaboration with marketing.
  • Support development team initiatives by gathering mission stories and contributing to projects that strengthen a culture of philanthropy.

Qualifications:

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience coordinating volunteers preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Additional Requirements:

  • This position frequently travels locally and statewide for events. May have 1-2 overnight trips per month.
  • Must have current driver's license and proof of insurance
