Position Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Associate, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations. They will play a critical cross-functional role supporting the Company's strategic initiatives, product development, investor communications, and other external stakeholder engagement efforts. This individual will serve as a central resource for developing presentations, marketing materials, financing decks, investor reporting, market research, and strategic analyses used with institutional investors, warehouse lenders, banks, securitization counterparties, rating agencies, and other capital partners.

 

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Sr. Associate, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations is an LA-based or AZ-based position on a hybrid schedule with at least three (3) days in-office. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer. While not an exhaustive list, the Sr. Associate, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain investor presentations, fundraising materials, company overviews, and external-facing communications.
  • Help articulate the Company's competitive advantages, products, and growth strategy.
  • Support preparation of materials for meetings with investors, lenders, banks, and capital providers.
  • Create executive-quality PowerPoint presentations and translate complex financial information into compelling visual stories.
  • Prepare quarterly investor updates, portfolio performance summaries, and recurring stakeholder communications.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and industry research and prepare intelligence reports for executive leadership.
  • Support presentations, management reporting packages, and executive-led strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate information gathering across Finance, Originations, Credit, Operations, and Executive Management.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure all materials are compliant and abide by regulatory standards and requirements, as applicable.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in strategic finance, investor relations, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, asset management, private credit, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, research, written communication, and presentation development skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, with experience creating executive- and client-facing presentations.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in private credit, real estate lending, mortgage finance, asset management, or financial services.
  • Exposure to institutional investors, securitizations, capital markets, or similar financing structures.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or AI-enabled productivity tools.

Compensation

This position is exempt, full-time, with salary range: $125K - $155K, plus discretionary bonus potential.
