Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of glass and glazing projects from contract award through closeout. This role serves as the primary liaison between Florida Glass & Aluminum and our clients—ensuring timelines are met, communication is clear, and projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to specification. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, balancing schedule demands, customer expectations, and field realities with confidence and professionalism.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Manage day-to-day project activities for assigned commercial jobs from kickoff to completion
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client project managers, superintendents, and general contractors
  • Develop, update, and track project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are met
  • Coordinate with internal estimating, operations, field, and fabrication teams to align resources with project requirements
  • Lead project meetings with clients, vendors, and field leaders to review progress, resolve issues, and maintain alignment
  • Review contracts, change orders, submittals, and RFIs to ensure accuracy and timely responses
  • Track costs, budgets, and variances; provide regular updates to leadership on project performance
  • Proactively identify potential risks and delays, offering solutions to maintain project momentum
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and contract requirements
  • Support project closeout with final inspections, punch lists, and documentation


What You Bring to the Table

  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial construction (glass and glazing experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, scheduling, and customer communication
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with clients, superintendents, and trade partners
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, and construction scheduling tools
  • Ability to travel locally to job sites as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
