Project Coordinator

Singleton Construction

Lancaster, OH • On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 11 days ago

Job description

Keep projects moving. Keep clients happy. Build a career you'll be proud of.
At Singleton Construction, we know that great projects don't happen by chance - they happen because great people keep everything moving.
As a Project Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our project teams, helping deliver nationwide retail and commercial construction programmes for some of America's most recognised brands. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents, ensuring every detail is organised, every deadline is met and every client receives the exceptional service we're known for.
If you're someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys solving problems and loves seeing a project come together, we'd love to hear from you.
Why Singleton?
We're not the biggest construction company, and we're proud of that.
Our size means you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, build meaningful relationships and develop your career with people who genuinely want to see you succeed.
Our reputation has been built on delivering what we promise, supporting our clients and creating a culture where people enjoy coming to work.
When you join Singleton, you're not just filling a position - you're becoming part of a team that cares about doing great work and doing it the right way.
What you'll be doing
No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of construction projects.
  • Preparing project documentation, schedules and reports.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Tracking project progress and helping identify potential risks before they become problems.
  • Maintaining accurate project records and documentation.
  • Communicating with clients to provide updates and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
  • Supporting project closeout and handover activities.
  • Helping keep multiple projects organised and running smoothly at the same time.

Requirements
What we're looking for
You'll be someone who enjoys bringing order to busy environments and takes pride in getting the details right.
You'll likely have:
  • Previous project coordination, project administration or construction administration experience.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders.
  • The ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management systems.
  • Construction industry experience is beneficial, but not essential.

Most importantly, we're looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine desire to build a long-term career.
What success looks like
In this role you'll become someone the team can rely on.
You'll anticipate problems before they happen, keep projects organised, communicate confidently with clients and colleagues, and help ensure every project is delivered to the high standards Singleton is known for.
Don't tick every box?
That's okay.
Research shows that many great candidates won't apply unless they meet every requirement. If this role excites you and you believe you'd be a great addition to our team, we'd encourage you to apply.
We're interested in potential just as much as experience.
Ready to build something great?
If you're looking for a role where you can grow your career, make an impact and work alongside great people, we'd love to hear from you.
Benefits
Why you'll love working here
  • Opportunity to work on nationally recognized construction programs.
  • Career development with clear progression opportunities.
  • Supportive, collaborative project teams.
  • Exposure to a wide variety of construction projects.
  • A company where your contribution genuinely matters.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
