IMSolutions is seeking a Program Manager to support a future opportunity with a federal agency that begins in September 2026.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote/Hybrid as authorized by the Government and Company as requested by the government.

Position Summary

As a Program Manager/Senior Acquisition Specialist you will have a critical role in delivering our next phase of growth with contracted service delivery and client satisfaction via tracking, monitoring, reporting, standardizing, and overseeing project cost, schedule, and performance measures in a dynamic environment. You will set the overall approach and work plan, also responsible for team supervision and engagement, and serve as the IMS point of contact with the government.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in the complete acquisition lifecycle, as well as serve as the technical champion for projects; responsible for the day-to-day administrative and technical management of a government contract to ensure that services are meeting and exceeding contractual standards.

These functions include:


Lead team members by creating an environment where employees are engaged and doing their best work using their strengths. This includes working to ensure employees feel supported, have the necessary tools and information to do their jobs, are provided work-life balance, and have a voice and feel that their ideas and opinions matter. Specific duties include:


• Providing direct acquisition support

• Allocating work

• Serving as a resource and advocate

• Suggesting and supporting employee growth opportunities

• Approving leave and timesheets

• Providing ongoing feedback and conducting performance reviews

• Effectively utilizing IMS systems

• Working with Human Resources on personnel actions such as hiring, promoting, compensation, reward and recognition, employee relations, employee engagement, and employee exits

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Education, Management Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources Development/ Management, or other related discipline or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline

Required Skills:

10-15 yrs exp in program and project management, enterprise planning/systems integration, organizational/transformation efforts, execution, coordination, and tracking on multiple projects.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

Required Qualifications:

Specialized experience includes:

  • expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms, demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity.
  • Assigned Program Manager must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction. M
  • Must show thorough experience in managing clients
  • Building a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives
  • Managing day-to-day client interaction
  • Setting and managing client expectations
  • Communicating effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
  • Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.


  • Achieving operational objectives and contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
  • Implementing productivity and quality standards
  • Providing technical direction and guidance to contractor staff to ensure Contract requirements and expectations are clear, success criteria are defined, progress toward results are monitored, and that all activities are performed in compliance with the terms of the Contract
  • Identifying risks and appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Meeting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
  • Managing a multi-tiered project and/or multiple projects simultaneously
