Position Overview:
Haven Management Services is seeking a motivated and driven Summer Sales Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for students majoring in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related field who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the hotel industry. The intern will play a key role in supporting our sales efforts through lead generation, outreach, and client engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities within the hospitality sector
- Generate and qualify leads through various channels including online research and databases
- Assist with cold calling and cold emailing campaigns to prospective clients
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate lead and contact information
- Support the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and outreach materials for sales team
- Track outreach efforts and report on campaign performance
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align messaging and sales strategies
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related field
- Strong interest in the hospitality and hotel industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable with cold outreach (calls and emails) and engaging new prospects
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
- Social Media Management
- Proficient in Canva or Adobe Photoshop to create marketing materials
