The Agency Operations Intern will support the Building Services team by analyzing help desk tickets, coordinating vendor and maintenance resources, generating operational reports, and assisting with procurement and vendor management strategies. This internship provides hands on exposure to facilities operations, process improvement, procurement analysis, and operational reporting within a nonprofit environment. The intern will gain experience in data analysis, facilities coordination, vendor engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact operational efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality.

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Generate weekly and monthly operational reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain and update approved vendor and contractor lists.
  • Assist in evaluating vendor performance, pricing, and service quality.
  • Support procurement strategy initiatives focused on cost reduction and quality improvement.
  • Participate in facilities walk through and operational meetings.
  • Assist with documentation, scheduling, and service tracking.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within help desk and facilities workflows.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled student or recent graduate inSupply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
