What You’ll Do
As a Tax Manager, you will lead high-impact engagements, serve as a strategic consultant for clients, and help drive the firm's overall vision and growth.
  • Engagement Leadership: Oversee the planning, preparation, and detailed review of complex individual, multi-state, and pass-through business tax returns.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide proactive tax planning, cash flow projections, and tailored financial consulting to support long-term client goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as a key firm ambassador, building trusted, "white-glove" client partnerships through responsive communication.
  • Team Development amp; Mentorship: Champion staff growth through hands-on coaching, technical amp; soft skill training, and constructive feedback.
  • Technical Research: Dive deep into complex federal and state tax issues, delivering clear, actionable paths for the firm and its clients.
  • Operational Oversight: Partner with leadership to optimize workflow, manage engagement profitability (realization), and strategically balance team workloads.
  • Tax Innovation amp; Growth: Utilize modern tax software and emerging AI tech while identifying business development opportunities to expand client services.
What You Bring
  • Certification: Active CPA license (Required).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MST or MAcc highly preferred.
  • Experience: 5–7+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
