Job Summary
At Martinian Lawyers we are seeking for a detail-oriented and proactive Intake Specialist to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the initial stages of client intake, ensuring that all necessary information is collected accurately and efficiently. This role is crucial in establishing a positive first impression for clients and setting the tone for their experience with our firm. The Intake Specialist will work closely with attorneys and other staff members to facilitate a smooth transition from initial contact to case management.
Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential new clients via phone, email, and online inquiries
  • Conduct thorough intake interviews to gather detailed information about accident or injury claims
  • Accurately input client data and case facts into case management software
  • Assess the viability of claims based on firm criteria and escalate qualified leads to attorneys
  • Communicate empathetically and professionally with injured individuals and their families
  • Follow up with prospective clients to complete missing information or secure signed retainer agreements
  • Coordinate appointments, schedule attorney consultations, and confirm client meetings
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal and ethical standards
  • Collaborate with attorneys, case managers, and medical record teams to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Track and report intake metrics and conversion rates for internal performance review
  • Assist with translations and bilingual communication, if applicable
  • Stay up to date on personal injury terminology, procedures, and intake best practices
Skills
  • Experience in a law office environment preferred; familiarity with legal case management software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on active listening.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
  • Fluency in Armenian / Russian is required for this position.
