Up to $32.00/hour (DOE) + $5.50/hour Shift Differential (6:00 PM-6:00 AM)

  • Serve as the first point of contact for emergency clients, providing compassionate service during stressful situations.
  • Triage incoming emergency cases and communicate critical information to the clinical team.
  • Obtain patient histories and accurately document medical information in the electronic medical record.
  • Assist with patient intake, including obtaining vital signs when appropriate.
  • Coordinate closely with veterinarians and technicians to prioritize cases and maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Accurately enter service charges during the intake process to support timely invoicing.
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms for incoming emergency patients.
  • Keep clients informed by providing updates and setting expectations throughout their visit.
  • Support efficient shift transitions and daily Emergency Department operations.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical veterinary experience required; emergency or specialty hospital experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and emergency patient care.
  • Excellent communication, client service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and compassionate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds or more and stand for extended periods.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient and client care.
