Position Overview

Mosaic Mastery Wellness is on the lookout for a compassionate and experienced Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team. This full-time remote position offers an exciting opportunity to provide critical in-home and outpatient therapeutic services, guiding children and families through mental health challenges associated with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals. You will engage in providing intensive therapeutic services within the families' homes or at our outpatient office in San Antonio, Texas. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions designed to meet the specific needs of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities, both in-home and at our outpatient center.
  • Implement evidence-based practices for anger management, coping strategies, and the development of social skills aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and physical aggression.
  • Facilitate family engagement and improve decision-making skills among caregivers to effectively manage and address behavioral challenges within the home environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals, ensuring a cohesive and coordinated approach to care for the youth and their families.
  • Document all therapy-related information, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to specified timelines and organizational policies.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, contributing your insights and recommendations to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse group of children aged 3 to 20, particularly those facing developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will work with families from various cultural backgrounds, making strong bilingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese a vital asset, as they enhance communication and rapport with clients. Your work will address not only the needs of the children but also the stressors and challenges experienced by their caregivers.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory to practice in Texas.
  • Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 PM). Weekend availability is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle for traveling to clients’ homes.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in providing positive behavior support and interventions focused on children and teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic techniques and practices that promote positive behavioral change among youth.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with other social service and healthcare providers.
Compensation and Benefits
