Job description

Summary/Objective
The Sr. Client Implementation Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive implementations forward and adhere to deliverable deadlines. This position serves as the key resource for clients during the implementation process.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
  • Advice, design and implement best practices to ensure the solution satisfy client's requirements related to overall solution functionality, application architecture, security, and third party solution integrations.
  • Actively listen to the client to understand their complex business requirements for multiple client implementations.
  • Support the client during user acceptance testing, through launch and post-implementation stabilization. Participate in triage activities to identify root cause and recommend corrective measures to resolve issues.
  • Support Project Managers in managing project success; identify & escalate issues, and provide timely project progress updates.
  • Work with development & dev-ops teams to influence, design, and validate solutions.
  • Mentor, educate, and train colleagues. Collaborate with immediate and extended team to share best practices and ideas.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have any supervisory responsibility or direct reports.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/project management certifications preferred
  • Background in delivering projects for external customers
  • Strong organizational, communications and people skills required
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Enjoys wearing multiple hats and can be called on to play whatever role is required for the situation
  • Background in the Payments, Banking, E-Commerce, Finance and/or Utility industries helpful but not required
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to life up to 25 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
10-15% travel to customer sites may be required based upon project needs.
