Job description

Position Title: Project Manager - Associate

Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 annually

Location: (hybrid – 4 days onsite in and Fridays remote) Colorado Springs, CO


Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Project Manager – Associate for a direct hire opportunity. The Project Manager (PM) Associate will support external clients throughout the project implementation and software development lifecycle. This role is responsible for managing client statements of work, facilitating requirements analysis and design, baselining project plans, keeping the client informed of project progress, tracking and communicating financial status, ensuring timeline schedule, managing change, mitigating risk, and working with the client to facilitate on time, on budget project deliveries.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and internal teams.
  • Manage project deliverables to plan, ensuring they are on schedule, within budget, and meet client satisfaction.
  • Maintain project financials at or below budget based on client-approved assessments.
  • Deliver project timelines on time or ahead of schedule according to plan.
  • Manage resources effectively through timely, accurate bookings and coordination of work product delivery.
  • Assess, communicate, and manage changes to project scope for client approval.
  • Track and achieve productivity, utilization, and margin metrics within established company guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of resourcing, task management, bookings, time tracking, budgets, timelines, dependencies, and other project details in the project management system.
  • Meet established KPIs in alignment with project management requirements.


Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in project and program management
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Products: (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Visio)
  • Experience with NetSuite or OpenAir is a plus
  • Financial services industry experience is a plus
  • Project Management Certification a plus (PMP, CSM, CAPM, SAFe, etc.)
  • Six Sigma or Lean process improvement experience is a plus
