Job Summary
The Branch Banking Client Consultant I delivers front-line client service and transactional support by welcoming clients, identifying their needs, and performing teller functions and financial transactions in an accurate, efficient, and friendly manner to support their financial goals. This role contributes to branch success by maintaining operational accuracy and risk standards, while also supporting sales performance through introductions, client education, and collaboration with branch teammates.
This role exists to create a positive and trusted branch experience where clients feel supported, informed, and connected to the right financial solutions while their everyday banking needs are handled accurately and efficiently. The role also exists to support branch growth and service goals by balancing teller transaction execution, client engagement, timely problem resolution, and adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance (all Teller related functions) and primary client acquisition. Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiative

  • Client Experience: Provide positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems and/or complaints and through research and communication resolve in a timely and effective manner. Delivers client engagement and Education. Meet behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership including, but not limited to introductions.

  • Risk Management: Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions; striving for no controllable preventable losses. Understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies and regulations.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.

  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
  • Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.

  • Minimum experience required: Less than 2 years of customer service and sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Financial Services Industry.
