Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in researching, writing, and producing business proposals and presentations
  • Previous experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Gather research data related to competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience
  • Monitor online and print sources, including newspapers, magazines, and blogs
  • Contribute to CRM maintenance and date entry related to clients, consultants, personnel, and mailing lists; maintain content library, including prior proposals, boilerplates, and visuals
  • Embrace and implement brand standards
  • Coordinate awards competition entries, ensure compliance with award requirements
  • Manage firm special events and trade shows planning, execution, and follow up
  • Maintain list of relevant resources and achieve proficiency in understanding applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliant RFQ/RFP responses
  • Prepare or assemble written and visual information for client presentations
  • Maintain scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements and status
  • Produce and arrange on-time, fully compliant SOQs/proposal criteria
  • Gather content from team and consultants as needed
  • Track pre-submittal meeting scheduled and attendees, identify decision makers
  • Record and distribute notes from pre-submittal and public sector meetings
  • Maintain system to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills:
  • Capable of working both individually and in a collaborative team environment to meet multiple specific deadlines
  • Versatile writing ability with the proficiency to adapt tone and style to suit content types, including technical, persuasive, and informational materials
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and meticulous editing skills
Software Proficiencies:
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Adobe Creative Suite applications (specifically InDesign) experience required
  • Marketing database and CRM systems experience preferred
Compensation: $60,000-$75,000. Annual salary is commensurate with education & experience.
