Job Description:

The Client Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the firm's client development initiatives. This individual will combine exceptional organizational and administrative skills with strong sales instincts to help project manage new client development initiatives and strengthen existing client relationships. This role is ideal for a proactive, creative, and highly organized professional who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and taking ownership of projects from concept to execution.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Support the transition of sales opportunities into active matters by preparing engagement letters and related documentation

  • Support client/matter opening processes and coordinate with internal departments to ensuretimelyexecution

  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, and business-development related travel as needed

  • Work with attorneys and pricing function to prepare budgets, working group lists andassistwith compliance with outside counsel guidelines

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and tracking dashboards

  • Utilize Salesforce tomaintainorganized records of client interactions, business development activities, and active opportunities

Sales Supportand Client Relationship Management

  • Conduct research to help map relationships atkey accountsto helpidentifyadditionalrelevant introductions

  • Draft client follow-up email communications andtimelymeeting notes

  • Help manage ongoing clientand prospectrelationships by coordinating communications and ensuringtimelyfollow-up

  • Collaborate closely with the business development team on the pre and post meeting process, including scheduling specific client events, preparing briefing materials for client meetings, supporting follow-up pitches, and other business development initiatives

  • In close collaboration with the business development team's targeting efforts,monitorthird-party sources and press related to client activity andidentifyopportunities foradditionalclient engagement

  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2-5+ years of experience in business development, sales, client services, marketing, account management, or a related field

  • Experience using Salesforce or another customer relationship management (CRM) platform preferred

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities

  • Ability to handle andmaintainconfidential information

  • Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly

Target Hiring Range $72,000 - $90,000
Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
