Job description

Spectrum Insurance Group is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our Hudson or Eau Claire office. The Account Manager works closely with a team of agents to provide excellent customer service and support to individual and group clients. Qualified candidates will be licensed and have 3+ years of personal lines experience.

Responsibilities

Prepares submissions and markets new/renewal business to appropriate carriers

Responds to all day-to-day inquiries and service issues for assigned clients

Provides coverage recommendations and collects exposures from clients and prospects

Maintains agency management system with up-to-date and accurate information

Serves as liaison between client and vendors/carriers to resolve issues and identify process improvement opportunities

Tracks, manages and documents open issues keeping the client and agent informed of status and resolution

Quotes, analyzes, compares, and recommends coverage options for clients

Manages renewal timeline to ensure timely execution of client decisions

Prepares summaries of insurance, renewals, schedules, and proposals

Reviews client contracts and policies for accuracy

Supports Agents with new and renewal business presentations as needed

Builds and maintains strong customer relationships through pro-active communication

Communicates and educates clients on latest industry trends, issues, and changes

Attends client meetings as required


Requirements

Required Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of insurance products, rating, and underwriting procedures

Practical knowledge of quoting process and tools

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and organizational skills

Proficient computer skills including the ability to document and access information

Ability to follow existing processes, procedures, and verbal instruction

Ability to manage multiple priorities, accurately, efficiently, and independently

License and Certification Requirements

Valid WI drivers license and acceptable driving history

Current licensure or ability to obtain a Property & Casualty Resident Intermediary granted by the State of Wisconsin
