Job Duties:ย 

  • Maintains attendance office files, records, and phone service.
  • Processes student sign-ins and sign-outs.
  • Delivers messages to students.
  • Notifies and discusses with students questions on unexcused absencesย and failures to sign in or out.
  • Verifies absences and validityย of excuses by calling parents.
  • Processes attendance data.
  • Identifiesย excessive tardy absentees for Principal and Assistant Principals.
  • Sets up attendance records at the beginning of the new schoolย year.
  • Performs various other related duties as assigned by Principal and Assistant Principals.
  • Provides requested reports to administrators and counselors.ย

Currently hold the Monroe County Civil Service Office Clerk IV title OR be on the current ย Monroe County Civil Service Office Clerk IV eligible list.ย

Monday - Friday
7.5 hours/day (not including 1 hour lunch break)
