Job Description: CPH has an opening in its Sanford, Florida office for the following position:
Clerical Assistant
Must be professional and assist Engineer staff as a part of the team. Duties include copying, binding, scanning, and filing with experience in Word and Excel a must. Reliable transportation is a must for local deliveries to agencies and pick-ups as may be needed on occasion. General office duties such as maintaining office supplies, placing calls for equipment repair/maintenance, etc. Serves as back-up receptionist as needed so prior switchboard experience is a plus. Prior Architecture/Engineering experience is a plus.
This position provides an opportunity for a skilled, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional to join an established, growing Architectural and Engineering Design Firm. Requirements:
Reliable Transportation for local deliveries including valid Florida Driver’s License and Insurance.
Willing to work as a team and have strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Prior switchboard experience is a plus.
Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications. Coordinates with courier.
Works directly with vendors for ordering of supplies and catering for meetings.
Assembles typed documents into orderly packages and assists Project Managers as needed
Assist in the retrieval of archived boxes from off-site storage as necessary
Performs scanning for electronic archival of project files
Edit technical specifications, design reports and other project related documents if needed
Knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet; MS Word; MS Outlook
Good phone skills; organized; ability to set priorities; ability to meet deadlines; ability to multi-task
Prior experience within construction, architecture, or engineering firm is preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits:: Dependent upon experience.
