Position           : Network Admin w/ Aruba

Location          : Cherry Hill, NJ Hybrid (onsite 4 days a week)

Duration         : 12-24mth +

  • Active Aruba Admin Certification
  • Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) nice to have; or Aruba Network Certified will also accept 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Administrator with expertise in enterprise networking, firewalls, and network access control solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in architecting and supporting complex campus and datacenter networks, with deep hands-on experience in Aruba, Cisco, and firewall technologies. This role is critical to the design, implementation, and ongoing support of secure and scalable network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain complex campus and datacenter networks, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, and support Aruba ClearPass and/or Cisco ISE for network access control and authentication.
  • Architect and manage enterprise firewall solutions (e.g., Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, Check Point) in multi-site environments.
  • Implement and support Cisco FirePower for intrusion prevention, advanced malware protection, and firewall services.
  • Troubleshoot network performance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and perform upgrades and patching as needed.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, change control, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure network infrastructure complies with security policies, industry standards, and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, server, and application teams to support integrated IT solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting enterprise-level networks.
  • 4+ years in a senior or lead role managing firewall architectures and advanced network security.
  • Experience with Cisco routing and switching, Aruba wireless and ClearPass, and network segmentation best practices.
  • Proven experience with Cisco Firepower installation, design, and ongoing support.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VPNs, and NAC technologies.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN architecture, remote access technologies, and high-availability networking.
  • Scripting or automation experience using Python, Ansible, or similar tools is a plus.

Certifications (Required or Preferred):

  • CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent professional-level networking certification required.
  • Certifications such as Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) or Cisco Security certifications are a strong plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.
  • Knowledge of zero trust network architecture and segmentation strategies.
  • Exposure to software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization (e.g., VMware NSX).
