Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is redefining how organizations securely connect users, applications, and data from edge to cloud. We are seeking aSASE & Security Presales Specialistto help lead this transformation across the Eastern United States.

In this senior, customerfacing technical role, you will be a key member of theHPE Networking SASE & Security Specialist Team, partnering closely with account managers, channel partners, and enterprise customers. You will architect, position, and demonstrate modern secure networking solutions built onSRX Firewalls, HPE Aruba Networking SASE, including SDWAN, Security Service Edge (SSE), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).

A core focus of the role will be helping customers understand and adopt theintegrated HPE + Juniper Networks security portfolio, includingJuniper SRX nextgeneration firewalls, clouddelivered security services, andnetwork access control (NAC) with Aruba ClearPass. You will show how these capabilities work together to deliver consistent, policydriven security across campus, branch, data center, cloud, and remote users.

This role is ideal for a technically strong pre-sales professional who enjoys blendingsecurity architecture, consultative storytelling, and handson technical engagementto solve complex cybersecurity challenges in distributed enterprise environments.

What You'll Do

  • Lead indepth technical discovery sessions to understand customer business objectives, threat landscape, networking environments, and security requirements.

  • Design, document, and presentendtoend SASE and Zero Trust architectures, incorporatingSDWAN, SSE, ZTNA, NAC (ClearPass), and nextgeneration firewall technologies (SRX).

  • Deliver compellingcustomer demonstrations, workshops, and proofofconcepts (POCs)highlighting use cases acrossSASE, SSE, secure branch, remote access, and cloud security.

  • Position the combinedHPE Aruba Networking and Juniper security portfolio, includingSRX firewalls, campus and branch security, and datacentertocloud connectivity.

  • Articulate the value ofidentitydriven securityusingNAC, contextual access control, and Zero Trust principlesto security, network, and executive stakeholders.

  • Support sales pursuits by contributing toRFPs, RFIs, architecture diagrams, and security questionnaires, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity.

  • Collaborate closely with account teams, security specialists, partners, and professional services to drive successful customer outcomes.

  • Present confidently to audiences ranging from handson engineers to CISOs, security architects, and executive leadership.

  • Provide structured feedback from the field to product management and engineering teams to influence roadmap and solution enhancements.

  • Travel primarily across the Eastern U.S., with occasional broader travel to support major customer engagements, partner events, and industry forums.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of experience intechnical presales, sales engineering, or solution architectureroles within networking and/or cybersecurity.

  • Strong handson experience withFirewall, SASE, SSE, Zero Trust, SDWAN, or clouddelivered security architectures.

  • Solid understanding ofnetwork and security fundamentals, including firewalls,SRX, IPsec, SSL/TLS, IDS/IPS, and traffic inspection.

  • Experience withidentitybased access controls, includingNAC, SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and role or contextbased policy enforcement.

  • Strong networking knowledge:TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, BGP, and OSPF.

  • Familiarity with securing workloads and connectivity inpublic cloud environments(AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud).

  • Comfortable deliveringlive demos, whiteboard sessions, and customer POCsin highvisibility sales engagements.

  • Clear communicator who can translate complex cybersecurity concepts intobusinessfocused value propositions.

  • Selfdriven, collaborative, and effective in a fastpaced, teamoriented sales environment.

- United States of America: Annual Salary USD 175,000 - 411,500 in Florida
This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target-level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on-target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target-level sales compensation is 75%/25%.
