Job description

Project Cleaner

We are looking for a Full-Time Project Worker Cleaner to perform cleaning and maintenance duties in office buildings located in the Milwaukee area, with specific locations subject to change. The working hours are from Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Candidates with prior experience in floor care and cleaning are preferred. A valid Wisconsin Driver's License is required.

This is a dual position and includes both Project Floor Work and General Cleaner job duties. Project Floor Workers a specialized cleaning professional who is responsible for performing deep cleaning and restoration tasks on floors, often focusing on large-scale projects like stripping, waxing, buffing, or refinishing floors in commercial spaces, rather than routine daily maintenance cleaning; essentially, they are called in to handle major floor care projects when needed, as opposed to regular floor cleaning staff. General Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their designated buildings/areas by performing various cleaning duties. This job includes moving large furniture and objects in such a manner that safety guidelines are followed to prevent injury to themselves and others.

Essential duties and Responsibilities

· Perform project tasks including stripping floors, waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, and other periodic or project work as is desired by customers.

· Must be able to work with industrial buffers and scrubbers.

· Perform project work consisting of local deliveries of supplies.

post construction clean-ups, floor care, flood clean up, carpet care, power washing and various tasks resolving customer complaints at our customers’ buildings.

· Inspect and set up new equipment, material, and processes.

· Collaborate with a manager to learn new types of equipment, materials, and processes.

· Provide an excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

· Reports on time and work overtime as required and if required to travel for business, maintains a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

· Must be able to pass background check required by customers to enter and work in their facilities.

· Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Cleaning responsibilities

· Dust surfaces including desktops, cabinet tops, partitions, picture frames, etc.

· Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to designated disposal areas.

· Sweep with broom, damp/wet mop hard surfaced floors, vacuum floors using upright vacuum and/ or vac packs.

· Clean glass areas.

· Clean and Disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors floors, etc.

· Replenish bathroom supplies.

· Polish metal work such as fixtures and fittings throughout.
