Description:

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION: 

Responsible and accountable for providing cleaning and grounds maintenance at the properties, providing customer service, and presenting the company in a professional manner at all times.


CLEANING OBJECTIVES:

  • Oversee and manage the cleaning and grounds maintenance components of the property.
  • Achieve targeted resident satisfaction through customer service to attain greater resident retention.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Included, but not limited to, the following job specifications contained herein.

  • Sweep, clean, and maintain all common areas of the community.
  • Perform cleaning of all vacant units.
  • Complete all cleaning and ground maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain records of cleaning performed in all units and at the site.
  • Maintain all Justus Property Management tools, equipment, and replacement parts in working condition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance coverage.


DRIVING/TRAVELING REQUIREMENTS: Occasional need (1% to 33% of the time) to utilize personal transportation to properties and make trips to local supply stores.


REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve problems with no direction. Ability to interpret complex instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee can be exposed to outside weather conditions that are sometimes harsh. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Occasionally must work in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, high/precarious places, around fumes/airborne particles/toxic or caustic chemicals and near risk of electrical shock.
