Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our small, collaborative team. This is a hands-on position where your work directly impacts our operations and success. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, tech-savvy environment, working with multiple teams including inventory, purchasing, and hardware integration. Our warehouse is clean, climate-controlled, and organized, providing a safe and efficient space to get work done.
As a key member of our team, you’ll ensure inventory accuracy, proper order fulfillment, and smooth warehouse operations. Your attention to detail, ability to problem-solve, and proactive attitude will help keep our team running efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
- Prepare and ship orders using UPS WorldShip, ODFL, and other freight carriers.
- Pack distribution orders, assemble small kits, and create skid tags.
- Perform quality assurance inspections on consumable media and send QA reports.
- Count monthly inventory and maintain accurate stock records.
- Conduct general warehouse tasks, including sweeping floors, removing boxes, and keeping the space organized.
- Operate inventory management systems and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with inventory, purchasing, and other company teams to support operations.
- Assist with hardware integration and related processes as needed.
- Load and unload trucks and handle internal inventory transfers.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Experience with basic hardware integration or technology setups.
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management.
- Forklift certification required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook; Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with others.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new processes or software.
Work Environment:
- Climate-controlled warehouse (heated and air-conditioned year-round)
- Clean, organized workspace with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency
- Light to moderate physical activity (lifting, packing, organizing materials)
- Team-oriented environment with frequent collaboration across departments
- Fast-paced at times, especially during incoming shipments and order fulfillment
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move heavy items (up to 85 lbs.) throughout the workday.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and operating warehouse equipment.
