To thrive in a government cleaning role, you should possess a strong attention to detail, knowledge of sanitation procedures, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment, eco-friendly chemicals, and adherence to relevant health and safety standards (such as OSHA) are typically required.
