Job description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • General cleaning duties, such as blowing down designated areas, sweeping and discarding foreign material into a tip bin for disposal, shoveling, etc.
  • Cleaning on a scissor lift and sky jack (will train employees in proper procedure)
  • Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Carrying out heavy cleaning tasks and cleaning up after production processes
  • Working with air pressure equipment
  • Notifying management of any issues or repairs needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Other cleaning duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Working with heights/Fall Training (willing to train)
  • Experience operating Elevated Work Platforms (willing to train)
  • Forklift License ideal (willing to train)
  • Excellent attendance & punctuality
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Fast learner who is able to follow instructions
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 12 hours
  • Ability to work with minimum or no supervision
  • Previous experience as an industrial cleaner is an asset
