What does a cleaner manager do?

A Cleaner Manager oversees cleaning staff and operations in facilities such as offices, schools, hospitals, or commercial buildings. Their responsibilities include scheduling shifts, training employees, monitoring cleaning standards, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Inspire – Supervise cleaning teams, provide training, and create a supportive work environment.
  • Mentor/Coach– Identify “rockstars” on the team (no we don’t mean musical rockstars; we will train on this expectation during your onboarding).
  • Maintain Quality – Conduct inspections and ensure there is a consistency of clean that meets company and customer standards.
  • Organize Operations – Manage schedules, coordinate cleaning assignments, and handle supply ordering.
  • Customer Care – Build strong relationships with customers by responding with urgency and ensuring their satisfaction.

  • Support Growth – Help improve processes and contribute to the company’s success and reputation.
  • Safety First – Ensure the team follows all safety, health, and sanitation procedures.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities management, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a positive, hands-on approach.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Create a line of defense through backup floater coverage and, when needed, provide coverage when backup is not available.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • A customer-first attitude and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Report any matter that goes against company policy or would harm the company.
  • A commitment to our Core Values.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • A positive and supportive team culture where your leadership is valued.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on company growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
  • Competitive pay and consistent work in a steady industry.
  • The chance to make an impact by helping customers enjoy safe, clean, and welcoming spaces.
