Job Summary

The Cleaning position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. This includes performing routine cleaning tasks, disinfecting common areas, and ensuring assigned spaces are cleaned according to established standards and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, and restrooms using appropriate supplies and equipment
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and remove trash and recycling from assigned areas
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, countertops, and fixtures
  • Restock cleaning supplies and paper goods as needed
  • Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals correctly and safely
  • Perform routine deep cleaning tasks when assigned (e.g., baseboards, windows, or specialty areas)
  • Maintain cleanliness in both customer and staff areas (if applicable)
  • Notify a supervisor of any damage, safety hazards, or maintenance needs
  • Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning tools and products
