Under the direction and supervision of the designated Crew Lead, Field Foreman, General Foreman or Superintendent(s), the Clean Up Laborer is responsible for the effective and accurate performance of all assigned responsibilities including, but not limited to assisting with manual labor duties for various construction trades and different environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Clean Up Laborer is responsible for the effective and accurate performance of all assigned responsibilities by Crew Leads, Field Foreman, General Foreman or Superintendents including but not limited to:

  • Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
  • Understand and use of various tools and machines
  • Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.
  • Signal equipment operators to hoist trash/equipment and materials.
  • Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsite, haul trash to dumpsters
  • Sweep and clean work areas throughout the project
  • Able to distinguish between trash/scrap and stored materials
  • Work in an organized manner completing areas as you go
  • Work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail.
  • Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off of ladders, man lifts or other equipment.
  • Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.
  • Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Uphold Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion and Excellence at all times.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and procedures.
  • Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed.
