Construction Clean-Up Crew Member
Department: Operations
Reports To: Crew Leader / Supervisor / Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Compensation: $17.50 per hour
Position Summary
Rotolo Consultants, Inc. (RCI) is seeking dependable and hardworking Construction Clean-Up Crew Members to assist in restoring construction sites to a clean, safe, and presentable condition. Team members perform a variety of general labor duties including debris removal, sweeping, material handling, and final site preparation while maintaining RCI's commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Remove construction debris, trash, and discarded materials from job sites.
  • Sweep, shovel, rake, vacuum, and clean interior and exterior work areas.
  • Assist with final construction cleaning, including floors, windows, fixtures, walls, and other finished surfaces.
  • Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials as directed.
  • Operate basic hand tools and cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Assist with demolition clean-up and disposal of non-hazardous materials.
  • Organize and maintain clean work areas throughout the duration of projects.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific requirements.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or incidents to supervision immediately.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Perform other labor and site support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous construction, demolition, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
  • Perform repetitive movements using hands and arms.
  • Work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and direct sunlight.
  • Ability to work on uneven terrain and active construction sites.
Work Environment
This position is performed primarily outdoors on active construction sites. Employees may be exposed to dust, dirt, mud, loud noise, heavy equipment, moving vehicles, and changing weather conditions. Appropriate PPE must be worn at all times.
