Job description

Facility Technician I

$20/hr

Hours: 2:30 PM-11 PM.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Facility Technician I to join our team! This role is ideal for individuals with experience or exposure to chemicals and hazardous materials who are eager to grow their careers in the environmental services industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety by adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform hands-on tasks, including:
    • Drum pumping and dumping
    • Tank farm operations
    • Offloading trucks
  • Utilize scanning applications and complete required paperwork for waste tracking.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • 1+ years of experience handling chemicals or hazardous materials.
  • Forklift experience (preferred but not required).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
