Job description

Indotronix is seeking an : Thermal Protection Systems (TPS) Technician Level B
Location:Kennedy Space Center, FL
Shift Timings: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Candidates must be comfortable working all shifts
2-4 weeks of training. Training will be on first shift
Is Clearance Required To Start?: No
High school diploma or GED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix and apply primers, coatings, and other chemical compounds according to specifications.
  • Support Thermal Protection System (TPS) foam application activities.
  • Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and process documents.
  • Perform manufacturing work on aerospace structures and systems following established requirements.
  • Safely handle, mix, and apply chemicals using specified ratios and procedures.
  • Work in confined or tight spaces for extended periods as required.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
  • Support production, inspection, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with primer mixing and application processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process documentation.
  • Experience working with chemicals and understanding mixing ratios and application requirements.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting NASA programs.
  • Experience working in a clean room environment.
  • Manufacturing experience in human spaceflight, aerospace, or aircraft hardware.
  • Experience and/or coursework related to Thermal Protection Systems (TPS).

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
