Job description

Description

Perform dip and clean after dip processes in the Core Room and Module. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. Take necessary action to minimize delay time and maximize production.

Requirements

  • Obtain racks of undipped cores, dip cores, place cores onto the oven conveyor. Clean cores, drill vent holes, remove excess material and add chaplets as required. 
  • Place finished cores in boxes or racks using required packing materials and dividers.
  • Perform Baume checks on core washes. Document results.
  • Start up, operate, and shut down the dip oven and dipping equipment when needed to process cores. 
  • Monitor dip cleanliness and clean out the dip tank as needed.
  • Conduct daily operator audits and first piece inspection. Document results.
  • Monitor the quality of cores and notify supervisor of any quality problems.
  • Complete routing forms, check sheets, and other documents as required.

Monday-Friday 04:00am-2:30pm

May require pushing and pulling racks with weight (50lbs+)
