Job description

Simply Clean is a family owned professional cleaning service that prides itself on quality work and customer satisfaction. We treat every job as unique with it's own needs/demands and do our best to meet each client's specific requests. We offer fair-priced, reliable and detailed services in an array of settings, including but not limited to: Commercial/Office spaces, Post-Construction Homes/Buildings, Foreclosures/Vacancies and Move-in/Move-out spaces. We also offer warehouse, restaurant, fitness center and medical office cleaning.


We are currently looking for a detailed individual to work the following approximately 29 hours per week schedule:

Monday: 8am-approximately 2pm (1st job in La Crosse, 2nd job in Holmen)

Tuesday: 10am-approximately 5pm (1st job in Holmen, 2nd job in La Crescent)

Wednesday: 8am-approximately 2pm (1st job in La Crosse, 2nd job in Holmen)

Thursday: 10am-approximately 5pm (1st job in Holmen, 2nd job in La Crescent)

Friday: 10am-approximately 1pm (Only job for the day in Holmen)

Timeframes may be slightly flexible upon discussion. Drive time between locations is paid. Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. This position may be split into two separate positions of around 15 hours/week, one position in holmen M-F (12/1pm-3/4pm) and the other in either La Crescent or La Crosse M-Th (flexible time-frames between 7am-4pm). Details and flex options can be discussed during interview.


JOB DUTIES


Perform assigned tasks on a timely and consistent basis following the building's task and frequency schedule. Tasks will include a mix of the following:

  • Sweep or vacuum and mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted floors.
  • Dust work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
  • Clean restrooms including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, fixtures, floors and walls.
  • Replenish restroom dispensers with paper products and soap.
  • Clean entrance glass and other interior glass.
  • Respond positively and promptly to customer work orders and feedback.
  • Work effectively with other team members.
  • Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies.*
  • Operate and properly maintain equipment such as vacuum cleaners.*
  • Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liners.*
  • Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.*
  • Deep clean appliances such as fridges, stoves, etc. *
  • Communicate effectively with management and respond promptly to client and/or facility needs.
  • Follow instruction and perform tasks efficiently without direct supervision


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
  • Must have ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must care about quality and take criticism in a constructive manner, correcting concerns immediately.
  • Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, crouching, and all other movement associated with cleaning responsibilities.
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
