Job description

Production Technician

Location: 1710 Ringwood Circle, San Jose, CA 95131
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $18.00 – $24.00/hr


About the Role

SkySource Solutions is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Technician to support advanced parts cleaning and processing operations in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will work in a cleanroom and chemical processing setting, performing precision cleaning and handling of critical components. Safety, quality, and consistency are at the core of everything we do.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and chemical cleaning processes to remove micro-contamination from parts
  • Complete tasks such as:
    • Wiping, scrubbing, masking, drying, and baking
    • Chemical processing, etching, blasting, and coating
    • Machine operation and inspection
  • Receive, inspect, package, and prepare parts for shipment
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace (6S / Lean practices)
  • Safely handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals
  • Record data and measurements accurately (SPC tracking)
  • Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training
  • Cross-train and develop skills across multiple processes


Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience
  • Semiconductor or high-tech industry experience
  • Experience with:
    • Parts cleaning or coating
    • Media blasting
    • Quality assurance processes
  • Lean / Kaizen training


Work Environment

  • Cleanroom and chemical processing environment
  • Required use of PPE (gown, gloves, hairnet, etc.)
  • Exposure to chemicals and controlled environments
  • Safety-first culture at all times


Physical Requirements

  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Lift up to 40 lbs regularly
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Bend, reach, push, and pull as needed
  • Work with chemicals daily
