Job description

Get to know us: NOVO Health Services offers linen management solutions to the healthcare industry. NOVO Health keenly focuses on safety and infection control and provides its partner hospitals with a value-driven linen management control system that measures and monitors linen utilization by department to eliminate excess internal costs. NOVO's wide range of service programs offer a variety of options to provide a seamless, single source distribution system. NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.
Position Summary
Responsible for overseeing scale operations, including probing, weighing, and classifying linen, accurately recording customer data in the system, and coordinating the loading of outbound trucks. Ensures compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute special assignments and projects as directed.
  • Collect and enter customer information into the company's computer system with accuracy.
  • Perform daily weighing and classification of linen carts using both digital and manual tools.
  • Organize and load processed linen carts onto outbound trucks for delivery.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards while following established safety protocols.
  • Provide support for additional duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in operations or logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, interpret data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions with proven ability to enforce compliance.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform moderate manual tasks.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and customer service skills with a track record of achieving positive business outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
