We are looking for a hard working Post-Harvest Trimming Technician at our Perris, California location.

Job Title: Post-Harvest Trimming Technician

Job Level: Non-Manager

Employment Status: 90 Day Temporary Position

Primary Location: Perris, CA

Summary:

The primary goal of the Post-Harvest Trimming Technician is to assist the Trimming Department in completing the daily processing amount of finished product. The Post-Harvest Trimmer is responsible for the meticulous trimming and processing of cannabis plants after harvest; this role is critical in ensuring that the final product meets quality standards and is ready for sale or further processing. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Trimming: Carefully trim harvest cannabis plants to remove leaves, stem, and other unwanted parts while preserving the integrity of the buds.
  • Quality Control: Inspect buds for quality and consistency, ensuring that only the best product moves forward in the processing chain.
  • Weighing and Recording: Accurately weigh and record the trimmed cannabis, maintaining detailed records of weights and strains processed.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain trimming tools and equipment to ensure a hygienic and efficient working environment.
  • Compliance: Follow all company policies, procedures, and state regulations regarding the handling and processing of cannabis.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in cannabis trimming or a related agricultural field is preferred but not required.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on detailed tasks for extended periods and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficient in using trimming tools with precision and care.
  • Physical Stamina: Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods of time and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of state and local regulations related to cannabis processing is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Indoor facility with controlled climate conditions.
  • This role may involve standing for extended periods, working in a production environment, and exposure to cannabis materials.
  • Schedule: 7:00 AM- 3:30PM Full time with the possibility of overtime during peak harvest seasons. 90 Day Temporary Position.
  • Benefits: Generous benefits package to include medical coverage, dental coverage, vision coverage, and life insurance. Benefits available on the first day of the month after completing 30 days of full-time employment.
