About This Role

The Early Learning Center of Neenah is a standalone center with a strong reputation in the community and among its staff. We offer a supportive, encouraging, and fulfilling work environment for those who join our team. As a lead teacher float position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and happiness of children in a dynamic and rewarding role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule: between 7:30 am and 5:45 pm


What You'll Do
  • Fill in for teachers during their lunch breaks in any classroom
  • Assist with mealtime, serving food and clean up, to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide personal care for children, including toileting and diaper changing
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom and center environment, adhering to high standards of sanitation and hygiene
  • Sanitize toys and equipment to prevent the spread of germs and illness
  • Supervise and engage with children during playground and classroom activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Monitor the whereabouts of each child in your care at all times, maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Complete record-keeping tasks as assigned, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher and/or supervisor

Requirements
  • Lead Teacher Qualified
  • WI Registry level 7 preferred
  • Experience working with children of all ages
  • A nurturing and patient demeanor, with a strong team player attitude
  • Ability to move between multiple classrooms in one day, as needed
  • Capacity to implement lesson plans left by the teacher, ensuring continuity and consistency
  • Able to maintain a well-organized and orderly classroom environment
