Job Description:
Nomadic Distribution is looking for a dynamic sales representative to help cover our rapidly growing portfolio with its current customer base and open new accounts in Northern California, East Bay/Bay Area. You must be knowledgeable about domestic and foreign wines. Our selection is diverse and covers classic regions as well as interesting wine regions. Candidates with an existing relationship in the industry will be preferred and we are looking forward to welcome someone ready to grow with us.
We are looking for someone who can:
* Service accounts on a regular basis and open new accounts on & off premise.
* Bring a lot of enthusiasm to the table.
* Show a sense of urgency and has a thick skin.
* Self starter, self directed, jump out of bed and get it done kind of person.
* Has "hospitality DNA" and bring your service ethic to work every day.
* You know wine, and want to learn more.
Qualifications:
* Self-directed, motivated, organized
* Knowledge of domestic and imported wines.
* Wine sales experience
* Dependable vehicle with current registration, valid California Drivers License, proof of automobile insurance, and acceptable driving record.
* Ability to lift and carry a 40 lb case of wine.
The ideal candidate will be a driven salesperson with passion for wine, who can demonstrate a strong sales record and ability to maintain effective relationships. Credentials and experience are valued, but so is motivation and personality.
Salary Information: Salary based + Commission. Full Employment with Health Benefits starting first month and 401K after 1st Year. We are looking for serious candidates who want to grow.
