Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with clients through ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions delivered via video chat. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and crafting individualized treatment plans.
• Utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities to guide clients toward improved mental well-being.
• Facilitating therapeutic discussions that help clients gain insights into their experiences, emotions, and interpersonal relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license that permits independent practice (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LCSW) without provisional or limited license status.
• No history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature that encourages a trusted therapeutic relationship.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using video conferencing tools for remote counseling sessions.
• Reliable internet connection with a computer equipped with a webcam and audio capabilities.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences may enhance your application:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling environment, specifically with adult populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and online therapy platforms.
• Experience utilizing various therapeutic modalities and approaches.
