ROLE DESCRIPTION (Sales-Focused):
As the Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for A'lan Edmonson - State Farm Agent, you’ll play a key role in driving agency growth through consultative sales and relationship-building. You’ll connect with customers and prospects, uncover needs, and recommend and sell insurance products and services that protect what matters most. This is a sales-forward, customer-facing role where your ability to follow up, educate, and close opportunities directly impacts your success and our agency’s results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively identify sales opportunities within existing accounts and through inbound inquiries; recommend appropriate coverage and close new policies.
  • Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate information in the database.
  • Assist customers with policy changes, coverage questions, and renewals—using each interaction to cross-sell and upsell when appropriate.
  • Support claims processing and follow up with customers on claim status to ensure a positive experience and long-term retention.
  • Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely and accurate policy issuance.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Sales mindset with strong follow-up skills and comfort asking for the business.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain products clearly.
  • Previous experience in insurance, sales, or a related field preferred.
