Hall & Evans, LLC, one of Colorado's oldest and most reputable trial firms, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join our firm as a Generalist. Experience defending civil litigation cases is preferred.

This an opportunity to work with talented legal professionals in a collegial, business casual environment in Downtown Denver. You will also gain immediate experience working with clients, taking depositions, appearing in court, and learning how to do develop business.


Upon successful completion of training, this position may allow for a Hybrid Working Schedule, with three days spent in the office and two days working remotely from home.

Requirements:
  • Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado, required;
  • Civil Litigation experience, preferred;
  • A strong work ethic and proven case management skills;
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills;
  • Exceptional research and writing skills;
  • Ability to travel;
  • Competent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook;
  • Interviewing and meeting with client representatives;
  • Direct experience/interaction with insurance claims representatives, including reporting, case assessment, evaluation, and strategy;
  • Responsibility for handling own files/matters preferred;
  • Taking and defending fact and expert depositions;
  • Expert engagement and preparation, expert disclosures and reporting;
  • Experience with all facets of pre-trial discovery and preparation;
  • Experience with all facets of pre-trial motions;
  • Experience with large document production and database matters;
  • First chair mediation experience, preferred;
  • Management and delegation of work to paralegals;
  • First chair trial/arbitration experience, preferred;
  • Schedule and payment claim experience, preferred;
  • Marketing and business development interest, and;
  • Experience in drafting publications, articles, or legal presentations, preferred.

The salary for this position is $100,000 - $187,500 annually, commensurate with experience.
