Role Description The Subcontract Cladding Gang role at Stark is a contract, on-site position based in West Plymouth, MA. The gang will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining cladding systems on commercial properties, ensuring all work meets specified designs, safety standards, and quality requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials and work areas, fitting and securing cladding panels, and coordinating with site supervisors and other trades to maintain project timelines. The team will also perform routine inspections, identify issues or defects, and carry out remedial work as needed, while adhering to all health and safety regulations. Accurate documentation of work completed and clear communication with project managers and clients are expected throughout each assignment.
Qualifications
  • Strong cladding installation experience, including working with various cladding systems and familiarity with roofing or façade works.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of site safety practices, safe use of tools and equipment, and compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Effective teamwork skills for working as part of a cladding gang, with clear communication and coordination with supervisors and other trades.
  • Reliable transportation to West Plymouth, MA and flexibility to work according to project schedules and site requirements.
  • Previous experience on commercial construction sites; trade certifications or relevant licenses are an advantage.
  • Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, working at height, and operating in various weather conditions.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail, and delivering projects on time and to specification.
