Job description

Epsilon Systems Solutions is seeking a full-time CIWS Technician II in San Diego, CA.
Summary: Under minimal supervision, the employee provides direct technical support aboard ships of the U.S. Navy on CIWS systems and networks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
oDirect, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following:
o Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) and associated systems
o Rolling Airframe Missile Launchers (RAM) and associated systems
o Rolling Airframe Missile Guided Missile Launching System (RAM-GMLS)
• Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
    • NEC (Navy Enlisted Qualifications) in related system:
    o CIWS (V02A)
    o SEARAM (V39B)
    o RAM (V01A)
    • 4+ years of related experience with shipboard systems and associated systems.
    • Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret manuals and standards.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Proficient with hand tools and multi-meters.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications.
    • Knowledge of 3M
    • Fiber Optics Technician Certificate

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $32.30-$39.50 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
