What does a civil site inspector do?

A Civil Site Inspector is responsible for monitoring and inspecting construction sites to ensure that work complies with approved plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. They review project documents, conduct site visits, and report on the progress and quality of construction activities. Civil Site Inspectors also identify and document any issues or deviations, working with contractors and engineers to resolve them and ensure that projects meet required standards before completion.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a civil site inspector?
