FoleyShald is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing entrepreneurial firm where senior engineers have direct impact on clients, projects, and the future of the organization.

About Our Firm

FoleyShald Engineering is a civil engineering firm with offices in Omaha Nebraska and we are looking for talented engineers ready to grow with us. We believe that the engineering design process should focus on the construction process, resulting in cost effective solutions that are efficiently constructed. FoleyShald Engineering specializes in land development engineering, site design and stormwater management, seamlessly integrating all phases of a project to create unique designs that are on budget and on time. We work closely with our clients through the entire process to keep them informed and involved every step of the way, until the vision becomes a reality.

Description

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer with 5-15 years of civil engineering experience and a strong land development background. The successful candidate will serve as a technical leader and project manager responsible for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use development projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage land development projects from due diligence through construction.
  • Serve as project manager with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and profitability.
  • Develop and oversee grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, paving, and site design plans.
  • Coordinate directly with municipalities, review agencies, clients, architects, and contractors.
  • Review and seal engineering plans and reports.
  • Provide construction-phase support and mentoring to engineering staff.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 5-15 years of progressive experience in land development engineering.
  • Strong Civil 3D proficiency.
  • Demonstrated client-facing project management experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
