Civil Project Engineer (PE)
Shorewood, IL
$100,000 – $125,000

TWG Engineering is seeking a Civil Project Engineer (PE) to support the design and development of civil engineering projects including roadways, site layouts, utilities, and stormwater systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projects while collaborating with experienced engineering, construction, and project management teams.

As part of The Will Group family of companies, TWG Engineering provides engineering services and technology-driven solutions to public and private sector clients throughout the utility and infrastructure industries. This is a hybrid position located in Shorewood, Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and modify civil design drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Prepare engineering calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway layouts
  • Assist in design reviews and ensure compliance with local codes and project specifications
  • Create construction documents, technical specifications, and quantity takeoffs
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to coordinate design solutions
  • Conduct occasional site visits to support inspections and project execution
  • Review RFIs and technical inquiries during project development and construction
  • Maintain accurate documentation of drawings, calculations, revisions, and communications

Qualifications
