Position Summary
Pay Rate - $45-$60/hour
Adidev is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee a wide range of infrastructure and civil works projects including transportation systems, bridges, buildings, site development, utilities, and water/wastewater facilities.
This role blends office-based design and analysis with hands-on field oversight, offering the opportunity to see projects through from concept to completion while ensuring quality, safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, public agencies, and contractors to deliver reliable infrastructure that serves communities and supports long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
-Review survey reports, maps, plans, and technical data to support infrastructure design
-Perform engineering calculations (structural, geotechnical, hydraulic, and transportation)
-Prepare drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD/BIM and engineering tools
-Develop cost estimates, schedules, and project budgets
-Obtain permits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
-Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications
-Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, agencies, and stakeholders
-Identify risks, resolve field issues, and recommend engineering improvements
-Maintain documentation including reports, design changes, and inspections
-Support projects from concept development through construction and closeout
-Pursue and/or maintain professional licensure (PE preferred)
Qualifications / Skills
-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred for some roles)
-Strong foundation in one or more disciplines: structural, transportation, geotechnical, water resources, or environmental engineering
-Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM, or similar engineering software
-Understanding of codes, standards, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
-Effective written and verbal communication skills
-Comfortable working both in office and field environments
-Project coordination, budgeting, and scheduling experience
-Interest in sustainable, resilient, and community-focused infrastructure design
-EIT or PE licensure (preferred or in progress)
