ProSidian Seeks a Civil Engineering Technician | Engineering [COC0100099] for Program Support on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Technical Element located CONUS - Charlotte, NC Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting urban planning, city infrastructure, and public works projects through technical expertise in design, drafting, and engineering support services in alignment with the City of Charlotte (COC) and Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA) initiatives.

Seeking Civil Engineering Technician candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as COC.  This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Engineering Functional Area Professional - Civil Engineering Support Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Civil Engineering Support (Entry Level Civil Engineering Aide) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as City of Charlotte (COC) | Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA) Generally Located In CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Civil Engineering Technician | Engineering [COC0100099]

• Prepare civil site drawings.
• Perform topographic surveys.
• Draft utility and roadway plans.
• Analyze field data for design input.
• Coordinate with contractors on specifications.

Desired Qualifications For Civil Engineering Technician | Engineering [COC0100099] (COC0100099) Candidates:

• Technical expertise in civil engineering processes.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Associate degree in civil technology; certifications in surveying or CAD preferred.

Skills Required

• AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS basics, surveying equipment use.
